AwakeTel Customers:

AwakeTel is committed to maintaining the privacy of its customers. AwakeTel will not sell or disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:

1. In order to validate, bill, and/or collect payments.
2. When required by law.

AwakeTel also makes reasonable efforts to protect your personally identifiable information which we store, as described below. We may use your information internally in order to provide you with improved service, to collect on your account, or to respond to any customer assistance request initiated by you. Non-identifiable Information

AwakeTel may share aggregate, non-identifiable, statistical information to improve services or for marketing. Examples of such information can include calling statistics, but does not include specific numbers you called, or the phone numbers you register for use with the service. We will not distribute such information with information that will identify your account or any other personally identifiable information to a third party.

Collected Information

Information we collect includes but is not limited to your name, billing address, e-mail address, a password chosen by you, your IP address, your web browser type, and transaction records of access and use of our Web Site. We also collect your credit card information and any phone numbers you activate with us. We also collect call detail records of calls placed through our services.

Contacting You

AwakeTel may send information regarding your account, current balance, and receipt of billing to your e-mail address. Please be aware that e-mail is not considered a secure form of communication, and so no personally identifying information will be included in such correspondence. If we need to contact you to update your account information, we ask that you open your web browser and go directly to our website to do so, rather than responding via e-mail with any private information. AwakeTel will not contact you via e-mail for any matter not regarding your account.

AwakeTel will not send you "spam" and since AwakeTel will not share your email address with anyone, you do not need to be concerned about adding to the spam you already receive.

Protecting Yourself

In order to avoid being held liable for fraudulent activity on your account, please take all reasonable precautions to secure access to your account. Choose a difficult to guess password not based off of a dictionary word, and keep this password confidential. When accessing our website, be sure that when you are finished you exit from the web browser entirely, instead of simply visiting your next website. Please be aware that scammers often send e-mail indicating that you should click a link in order to update account information. Do not click on any link in an e-mail in order to update your account information with AwakeTel. If you need to update your account, open your web browser and go directly to our secure site at http://www.awaketel.com/members If your phone number changes or your mobile phone is lost or stolen, please remove it from your account immediately in order to avoid being charged for usage from that number.

Information Security

AwakeTel utilizes advanced SSL encryption methods to protect information during submission via our Web Site. In addition to securing your personal information, all credit card information is stored by a CISP compliant vendor after pre-authorization. Please be aware that AwakeTel has no control over the security of your computer, internet access, other internet services, or any phones used to access our services. If we believe your account is being used in a fraudulent manner, we may suspend access until we can confirm any errant activity with you. Should you choose to discontinue use of our service, any personal information that we do not destroy will still be covered by our privacy policy.

Updates

Please be aware that AwakeTel may change its privacy policy. Please note the effective date of the policy which is provided via the AwakeTel Web Site. If you have any questions, please contact support@awaketel.com .
